FIVE THINGS ALL PARENTS SHOULD DO TO HELP THEIR CHILDREN
To be a good parents is not an easy task when it comes to child upbringing. Many children have missed their way of life because they lack proper home training.
Sometimes parents are not the major problem on this issue but the Western education have a great impact. Taking for example when I was in college, I could remember what a lecturer told me about how he failed any female students that refuse his proposal.
Eighty percent of the ladies fall my hand while twenty suffered and some of them does not get their result till date, he said. Looking at those students that falls for this lecturer, you can imagine how corrupt they will be presently, Western Education!
I am not saying that Western education is all that bad but many students have lost in life via it. Now let us take a look at this five habit a good parents should show their children:
1. FOLLOW UP: Parents are not just to provide food and shelter for their children but should also learn to know there children feelings.
As the adage says: weldone is the fuel for workers. Know what they are facing in school and find a way of solving the problem together.
2. STRICTNESS: Parents most especially the father should not be too strict towards their children. Strictness can cause many irritant in child brain and when this occur, how would you expect such a child to respond very active in his environment. STRICTNESS WORK LESS!
3. ASSOCIATES: They normally says, show me your friends and I will tell you the kind of person who you are. You need to monitor all his movement. The people he is associating with have greater influence in his life. Stop him from going out with bad guys surely he is on the right path.
4. GRANTS: When I was in school at the end of semester, my dad can never forget that thing ,despite that I have matured enough, hold my hand took me to the uphill far from our house gave me his car key to use throughout my holiday.
He doesn't have two but one car. He did took cab throughout my holiday. Grant your child that thing out of his expectations.
5. GOD FIRST: We all have our shortcomings, only God is perfect. Let your child know that God exist and this he will remember whenever he want to trespers. You as a parents are saved when your child misbehaved, you tell him/her; 'FEAR GOD'; and he correct himself.
